Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband, businessman Raj Kundra was released on bail on Tuesday, after spending nearly two months in Arthur Road Jail.
Mr. Kundra was arrested in July on allegations of creation and distribution of pornographic content on mobile apps.
He was granted bail subject to fulfilment of conditions and on a surety of 50000, sources say.
The businessman was seen tearing up as he walked out of the jail premises, as the media stationed outside volleyed questions at him.
Meanwhile, his wife, actor Shilpa Shetty, has been posting positive and inspirational quotes on her social media during this challenging period, while also maintaining a stoic silence on the matter. She also resumed her judging duties on a popular dance talent show.
