Mumbai Indians Unveil Official Jersey for 2025 IPL Season
Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL champions, have officially unveiled their jersey for the upcoming 2025 season, sticking to their signature blue and gold colors. The jersey launch is accompanied by an ad film featuring Tushar Lal’s viral rendition of the Inception theme.
The new jersey, as described by the team, represents "the iconic blue and gold palette symbolic of Mumbai Indians’ essence. Blue represents trust, confidence, and the team’s boundless potential, while gold signifies glory, achievement, and the relentless pursuit of excellence."
The ad film, which has been widely shared on social media, is set to the catchy tune of the Inception theme, popularized by Tushar Lal’s cover. The 2025 IPL season is just around the corner, with the tournament kicking off on March 22, 2025.
Team captain Hardik Pandya took to social media to share a heartfelt message with fans, promising to uphold Mumbai’s proud legacy alongside core players Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma.
"Dear Paltan, 2025 is our opportunity to bring the legacy where it belongs. With the blue and gold on us, we will take the field to play like Mumbai. This is not just our jersey. This is a promise to you," said Pandya.
The highly anticipated IPL 2025 season begins on March 22, with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
