Days after head coach Ravi Shastri’s lateral flow test came positive for COVID-19, news reports say one more member of the team’s support staff has tested positive.
The latest positive case emerged after a fresh round of testing for the team and support staff took place on Wednesday evening
The Virat Kohli-led Indian squad, in England currently for a five-match Test series, cancelled its training session scheduled for today and according to ESPN, is to remain at the team hotel, according to the safety protocols.
The fifth and final Test between India and England in the series was slated to start September 10 in Manchester, as India looks for a series win, leading 2-1 currently.
