TRS chief KCR has given out his decisions about the future action plans. On Wednesday, he said there will be no more allies from now on with any other parties and also that there is no question of mergers now at Telangana Bhavan. He said to come daily to the Telangana Bhavan from now and lead the party.
On Wednesday afternoon he came to the Telangana Bhavan from his farm house at Medak district. On this occasion he spoke about many issues about the party. He met with LP leader Etela Rajendar, MLAs Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy, KTR, Senior leaders Nayini Narasimha Reddy, G Jagadeesh Reddy, Karne Prabhakar, D Sravan Kumar, Bonthu Rammohan and others.
News is that many key decisions were taken in this meet. KCR said he would come daily to Telangana Bhavan and bring his lunch also there itself. This clarifies that he is preparing his cadre for the elections from now on.
KCR has stated that elections would happen in June and thus various programmes would be carried on from the second week of April in the constituency level and mandal level. He had also opined it wouldn’t be possible to concentrate on Greater Hyderabad and actions for strengthening the party if the election heat starts and thus wants to take the party door wise before that. On the whole KCR is now concentrating on strengthening the party.
When all other political parties are preparing for the next general elections, Telangana Rashtriya Samithi Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to be implementing a new strategy to push the Telugu Desam Party back in Telangana. The TRS chief believes strongly that after the 2014 elections, his party would play a key role in national politics. He also predicts that YSR Congress would emerge as a strong force in Seemandhra.
In this scenario, K Chandrasekhara Rao wants to ensure that Naidu would not to get any political support from national-level political parties. According to sources, the TRS chief has chalked out a new strategy to achieve his goal. KCR has good relations with the leaders of Congress, BJP, BSP, NSP, CPI, JDU and RLD. TRS leaders feel the allies of both the NDA and the UPA help keep the Telangana statehood demand alive in national politics.
TRS leadership feels that after the 2014 polls, neither the UPA, nor the NDA, or the Left-led third front could form the government at the Centre without the support of TRS. Due to the good relations of KCR, several leaders like BJP president Rajnath Singh, Union ministers Sharad Pawar and Ajit Singh, and BSP chief Mayawathi were repeatedly expressing support for Telangana, a TRS leader said.
CPI general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy is also demanding creation of Telangana state, he said. Another TRS leader said though the TDP chief Naidu has been on a padayatra, he failed to get support from national level political leaders for his walkathon. “TDP leaders have many times said that the Left and other parties would express their solidarity with Naidu by taking part in the padayatara. But,so far no national level leader has visited Naidu to extend support,” said another TRS leader.
KCR said the decision to move the no-trust motion was taken in the TRS legislative party meeting held here on Wednesday at the party office. TRS also resolved to stall the proceedings of the Assembly seeking tabling of a bill on Telangana in the House. Among the other resolutions, the TRS urged the state government to ensure 7-hour power supply to the farmers and effect pay revision for the government employees. It also extended support to the Sadak Bandh on March 21, highway blockade announced by Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (TJAC) in support of the separate state demand.
